Annaleigh Amanda Ashford is an American actress singer and dancer. Her first appearances on Broadway included in shows Wicked Legally Blonde and Hair. in You Can't Take It With You in which she was awarded the Tony Award as Best Featured actor in an Play. Annaleigh Ashford, Tony Award winner actor has collaborated with numerous acclaimed directors and actors on theatre and in television. She continues this award-winning career by working on new projects. Ashford will be next playing opposite Kumail Nanjiani on the Hulu special production Welcome to Chippendales from creator Robert Siegel premiering on November 22. Ashford currently is working on Searchlight Pictures' horror thriller Dust alongside Sarah Paulson, Ebon Moss Bachrach and Ebon Mosch Bachrach. The film will be available through Disney's DTC platforms as a Hulu Original. The film will premiere in March 2023. Ashford returns to Broadway as a co-star with Josh Groban in the revival of Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. Thomas Kail, director and producer of Hamilton will lead the production. Ashford was Paula Jones most recently in Ryan Murphy FX's American Crime Story Impeachment, which is a remake of the story that took place in the year 2000.
